Spatial puzzle · Six little breakthroughs

Clear the Way

Move one block aside. Find a new way through.

A little room. A way out.

Horizontal blocks slide left and right; vertical blocks slide up and down. Make space for each other, then slide the blue block through the exit on the right.

  1. 1Look for the blocking pieces
  2. 2Drag, or tap a block and a destination
  3. 3Send the blue block through the exit

A little space can open a whole path.

How is my result calculated?

Add the actual play time for six rounds, 2 seconds for each move beyond the minimum, and 20 seconds for each round with a hint. Your record combines efficient moves and quick decisions.

Frequently asked questions

Which way can each block move?

The ↔ mark means left and right; ↕ means up and down. Horizontal blocks move left and right; vertical blocks move up and down. Blocks cannot overlap or rotate. Send the blue arrow block through the exit on the right. Any legal solution counts, not just the prepared path.

What counts as one move or an undo?

Sliding one block to a destination counts as one move, regardless of distance. The final exit slide counts too. Tap-to-move and keyboard confirmation use the same unit. Undo reverses the previous move and adds one used move; it does not erase earlier moves.

How do hints and restarts work?

A hint marks the destination for one next move from the current layout, once per round, adding 20 seconds. Restart this round replaces only the current puzzle with another at the same difficulty and resets its time, moves and hint. Completed and future rounds stay unchanged.

Is there a time limit or elimination?

No. Think as long as you like and finish all six puzzles. Time starts when you begin a round and pauses between rounds or while you are away in another app. Resume explicitly to restart the clock. Modes vary verified minimum moves and dependencies, rather than board size.

How are fresh puzzles and minimum moves chosen?

There are 50 layouts for each mode and stage, 900 in total. New sets avoid recent puzzles and layout families where possible, without a daily schedule. Minimum moves are calculated using the same any-distance slide unit, including the exit. Merely changing block names or colors does not create another puzzle.

Which games count toward personal bests?

Mode-specific personal bests compare adjusted times from completed fresh sets. Same-set retries and shared puzzles are saved as practice and excluded. Choose a mode and Play again for six fresh puzzles; same-set replay keeps its original mode. All-time bests are preserved separately from the latest 200 games.

How are titles chosen?

Shorter adjusted times earn higher titles. The top title also requires a no-hint finish. Practice still shows a title but is excluded from personal bests. The time bands below apply separately to each mode.
