Drawing game · Six little strokes

Trace the Line

Follow a line, connect the dots, or draw a shape from memory.

How closely will your line match?

Draw from start to finish with your finger or mouse. When you finish, compare your line with the original. A little wobble is part of the fun. Try six different lines at your own pace.

  1. 1Press the start point and draw
  2. 2Lift, then continue from your last endpoint
  3. 3Finish and compare your line with the guide

The pale line is the guide. The blue line is yours.

How is my score calculated?

Each round compares your drawing with the original for up to 100 points, or 600 across six rounds. The comparison considers distance from the guide, missed sections or shortcuts, and unnecessary retracing. Time is recorded separately; your line’s accuracy determines the score and title.

Frequently asked questions

How do the three modes differ?

Follow the Line keeps the original visible. Connect the Dots asks you to join numbered points with straight segments, without an unseen curved target. Draw from Memory shows the original for three seconds, then leaves only the start and finish. Your own ink stays visible while you draw.

Does lifting my finger finish the drawing?

Lifting preserves your line. Press near its last endpoint to continue. You cannot jump the line to another position. Reach the finish and choose Finish drawing to submit. Switching windows or cancelling a touch does not submit automatically.

How do clearing and restarting differ?

Clear drawing removes the entire current drawing so you can try the same original again. Time continues and the clear is recorded. Restart this round replaces only the current puzzle with a new one at the same stage after confirmation, resetting its drawing, time and clears. Completed and future rounds stay unchanged.

What changes in later rounds?

Early rounds use short, gentle lines. Later ones add length, changes of direction, bends and nearby sections. The route becomes more complex while preserving room for finger drawing. Each mode and stage has a varied puzzle pool that avoids recent puzzles where possible. Start a fresh set whenever you like, with no daily limit.

Can I take a break and continue?

Pausing or leaving the window freezes the clock and memory preview, and covers the drawing. Resume to continue the remaining preview or your preserved line. Time does not run between rounds. Progress can be restored when this browser permits storage.

What about same-set practice and personal bests?

Mode-specific personal bests compare total points across six fresh puzzles. Same-set and invited games retain their original mode and are practice, excluded from bests. Choose a result-screen mode and Play again for six fresh puzzles. Bests are preserved separately from the latest 200 games, in this browser only.

How are titles chosen?

Higher six-round totals earn higher titles. Steady-Hand Master requires at least 570 total points and at least 90 points in every round. The top title rewards consistent accuracy across all six lines. Title thresholds are shared by all modes, with separate personal bests for each mode.
